Advocating for children and encouraging them to PLAY was the impetus for Play & Grow. Play & Grow provides interactive PLAY ideas; PLAY-based, learning activities; and resources supporting PLAY. Play & Grow recognizes PLAY is integral to a child’s overall health and well-being.
Our Go PLAY Activity Cards™ offer a themed approach for parents, caregivers, and/or teachers to create a child-directed, learning environment. Each Card provides detailed, step-by-step instructions for adults; is literary-rich with fingerplays, songs and stories (book titles are given with links to Amazon, but Play & Grow is NOT affiliated with Amazon—it is purely for your convenience); and offers a variety of activities. The Spring, Winter, Summer, Autumn Go PLAY Activity Cards™ are ‘real’ cards vs the other themes that come in a eCard option. Children are exposed naturally to all early childhood curricula areas as they make their way through Go PLAY Activity Cards™.
Developing a love of words is also important to Play & Grow. We, therefore, invite anyone and everyone to StoryTime! When teaching, Teacher Karen makes a point of sharing fantastic children’s books and she looks forward to share the love of a good story with her grandchildren via FaceTime. However, sometimes schedules don’t work out. When that happens, StoryTime! is available.
Looking for a toy? Play & Grow has reviewed and recommended several toys in various categories ranging from pretend toys to blocks to puzzles. As with the books mentioned in Go PLAY Activity Cards™ and StoryTime!, Play & Grow does not participate in affiliate programs regarding any of the toys. It’s only to facilitate children’s PLAY!
PLAY is vital for children’s development—it’s how their brains—and bodies—learn best.
