The Hula Hoop Girl/Teach Hoop Dance

The Hula Hoop Girl is a body and movement play practice that guides adults to reconnect to their own natural born rhythm, evoke joy and a sense of freedom, and enliven creative expression to foster emotional, psychological, and physical well-being.

Hoop dancing is an embodied movement meditation practice that uses body and movement play as a transformative means for joy replenishment, in which nurtures the mind, body, and soul. Although the hoop is a simple plastic circle, designed for all ages and sizes, people who connect with it have shared how the hula hoop has opened their lives up to a sense of balance, deep healing, and wellness. Meditation through movement, such as hoop dancing, is a holistic and dynamic body and movement play practice that evokes joy and a sense of peace and freedom.

The Hula Hoop Girl’s mission is to guide adults to connect with their joy, protect their joy, practice their joy, share their joy, and dance in the center of their joy, through transformational body play practices of hoop dance, ecstatic dance, yoga, meditation, mentorship, coaching, guidance and education.
