SuperBetter

A game-based learning platform created by researcher and game designer Jane McGonigal after she used gameplay to recover from a severe concussion. SuperBetter applies the psychology of play to build resilience, improve mental health, and develop social-emotional skills. Over one million people have played SuperBetter to tackle anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and personal goals. Used in schools, universities, youth programs, and workplaces — with five published studies showing it reduces anxiety and depression and improves self-efficacy.
